Welcome to The Evangelical Free Church of America's Northern Mountain District (NMD). The NMD covers an area from the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains in Washington, across Northern Idaho and almost all of Montana, a distance of about 850 miles. At the present time we have 30 churches which average 70 to 150 miles apart. Many of the churches are small, though some exceed 100, several are over 200, and a few have more than 500 in attendance. As the regional arm of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), we share the rich heritage that makes the EFCA so unique in today's complex ministry landscape.

We exist to assist our affiliate churches in their timeless mission to proclaim the wonderful news about Jesus Christ to a desperately needy world. Additionally, we exist to facilitate the establishment of new churches committed to this same mission and which model the distinctives that make the EFCA the special family and movement it is.
